BORACAY 2010

As planned, Jolo and I went to Boracay during my long weekend. :)

We stayed at the Grande Boracay Resort, owned a room with 2 beds (Why 2? He didn't know until we got in!) for 4 days and 3 nights. Here's a recap:

Day 1

He picked me up straight from work (my 8 - 5 am shift) with the driver and his NZ buddy Jester plus his wife, Rolyn. Been very early in the airport. Grabbed the power breakfast meal and waited around. First plane ride was awesome, he let me sit beside the window.

Inside our room before heading out to see the beach! And yes, we wore the same shirt. :) The resort was so perfect for us. I loved it! The room was cozy and well furnished, the pebble-ish resting place outside, the food! Oh heaven :)

The beach is great! :) Boracay is different from any white sand beach I've ever been to. No words can explain how happily Jolo & I swam together with the fishes! Everything was so great!:)

Day 1 ended by trying out the night life in Bora. Like what most say, had a good time! :) I didn't get drunk! Here in the picture, couples Jester and Rolyn are with us sharing the night. They are just the cutest! Both 20 years old and married! Like, MARRIED! No, she's not pregnant or was pregnant, Jester loved her that he married her and willing to take her to New Zealand. :) Like Jolo & I, they were together since High school.

Day 2

It's Sailing/Snorkeling day! :) I fear the ocean, like seriously! I am the person who doesn't like swimming that much. I know how to swim, I just don't do it. I am scared to death. I think I'm gonna drown if you don't put a vest on me. Yes, I was very giddy to travel from island to island and snorkel, it's Boracay anyway! ;)

Saying hello to my dear fishy friends! No to shark and anything not friendly! :\

Had a great lunch nearby the Shangri-la shore. Jolo drew Spongebob and Patrick, a very sandy version of me, and a lot more doodles I seriously laughed my heart out. :)

By night we went Fire Dancin'! :) Beer, Shisha, Tobacco, and Fire dancers! (The lead fell in love with Jolo she wanted me to go home :|) HAHA!

Day 3

Early in the morning, it was cloudy though, we went to try the Reef walking. The pictures weren't uploaded yet but I saw the video already! The experience was a real blast, I was under the ocean grabbing fishes by my hand, feeding them, wandering around! I feel like I'm a fish! Except that I don't swim, I walk! :))

And the best thing we did, Parasailing! :) No words can explain how fun this is!

At night we had a Lobster Fest! Jester since day 1 wanted to eat lobsters. So yea, before we go home, why not? We bought too many lobsters we had to take the rest in the hotel.

Day 4
Packed our bags, left Bora with funfilled memories! :) He went home with his braided hair!

I spent my 4 days in Boracay without even spending not a single penny. It's like celebrating my birthday for 4 days! Haha! Thank you so much, Jolo. Taking me to this place meant a big deal to me. Spending every bits of it with you is the cherry on top! :)

Before work, Leslie, Kevin, Jolo and I decided to go to Metro and eat dinner at Aruba. :) Kevin & Jolo had to meet since Leslie is my best friend. I was really happy they get along just fine.

Earlier this year, I had my own troubles getting along with my best friends' boyfriend. It's not only jealousy that drove me crazy but also the other side of Kevin someone told us about. The thing that's been wrong with me is that I believe to rumors very much. Just because he looks like he can do it doesn't mean he did it. And so I gave him a chance. I've accepted the fact that my best friend will never leave this guy so what's left for me?
So, I tried my very best and played nice. Everything went well. I stayed out with rumors and ignored the boys when they say something that's about Kevin. The guy is real. He is nice and childish and he loves my best friend. And after all the bonding and dinner dates with these two, I got nothing to say about him anymore except all the good things. ;)

I also introduced Jolo to my new found girl friends Shaine and Meg. When Jolo was in the country way back 2008, Shaine and Meg were only my colleagues. Now, they're like my best girl friends! We share most stuff together! ;)

Dated: November 10, 2010 :)

After 2 years and 3 months, Jolo went home. :)

It was indeed a spontaneous decision, I won’t tell why he went home. :D

Went to the airport to pick him up, with his Grandparents and the driver. It was kind of a VERY long bonding sesh at Shakey’s because his flight was late. I was very nervous and scared because it was my first time to go out with his grannies. But then again, God loves me. His grandma (which he calls mommy) grabbed and squeezed my hand and told me not to be nervous. They are NICE. Like super NICE. :) While waiting, they shared stories about their trips all around the world, the time where his grandma worked in Paris while his grandpa worked in Singapore. They are the cutest. I envy them. :)

We were late because of all the sharing, we forgot about that time. Instead of us waiting for Jolo, he waited for us! Hahaha! They can’t even find him, I did! :)

I don’t know how to feel or what to say when I saw him, he hurriedly opened the door and gave me a kiss and a tight hug. He missed me! :D

They made me stay at their house at Pearl, East fairview. We didn’t sleep, he told me his never ending stories about New Zealand, gave me a HUGE Nike bag and his pasalubong for my best friend - an NZ shot glass! :)

Of course, he told me why he went home. Fine.

You’re getting old. Maybe one day you meet someone and think you might want to settle down. I can’t, can’t take that. So, this is it.

I am getting old. Yes. :D

A lot has changed, his voice, his height, how straightforward he talks to me, and the other stuff. One thing stayed the same, he still loves me.

And yes, he went home for me. :)
