Saturday A-ok!

*****

I was not feeling well last Saturday since I did 17 hour shift at work. It's something I had to do instead of go to work on a weekend. That must've sucked as hell.

My officemates made me say yes to this plan of going out after our shift. I have already made plans to see my Best friend and Girl friend that day and decided to cancel since it's an office thingy and it would be scary to say no.

I was ready to go out and I did all the planning since I know the place and the person to contact for VIP seats. And then an hour before the meet up, they started bailing on me!!! I literally wanna cry! Thank goodness the Best friend was there and she's always been so available nowadays, she accompanied me and we partied all night! The VIP seats were canceled but the Guest lists were still up. I just had to show up and it's not a big deal since I'm with my best friend :)

First, we went to eat dinner at Teriyaki Boy where we had Rice rolls and Sushis! :) Then we headed to her condo, stayed to watch American Idol. Headed out and ate nachos, had beer, listened to good music at Off the Grill (where Les found her "The One" which was the drummer boy named Stanley) :))

Then by 1 am, we headed to White Ave. :) We just laughed our asses off!

In the morning, I accompanied her as she attended the fun run in Edsa! It wasn't much of a fun since something happened. :( Oh I will not tell!

I saw Phil and James Younghusband! @_@ Oh so lucky day!

ILOve ILOve! :)

****

It was planned a few weeks ago when we found out that Grandma's sick and was rushed to the hospital. We just had to see her and visit her. Good thing before we went to our hometown in Iloilo, Grandma was out of the hospital already. :)

It was actually my second time to visit Iloilo. Back to when I was 4 years old, I attended my Tita's wedding there. :) The place was a bit nostalgic. I appreciated my visit now since I'm old na. :)

It was my Dad, my Sister Lette, Bam, Pippay and I who spent 4 days back to our hometown. All we did was eat, share stories with my other aunts who were back from the US, and stroll all over the place. Twas fun! :)

I felt sad when we had to leave because of work and all. I really wanna spend more time with my Lola even if she's weak and needed rest most of the time. All I wish is for her to regain her strength and live longer and happy. :) I love you, Granny! ;)

Mi Valentino

******

I woke up early this morning since it's a Sunday, I haven't been doing anything last night. I opened my laptop, played with it and surfed my favorite networking sites for the latest news about my friends.

Then, about 8 this morning, my dad knocked on my door, perfect! He's shouting something about a package. I rushed immediately to the door because it must have been one of my mom's and my shoes and all the other stuff she sent from the US! (I am eager like that, oh material things!) And to my surprise, a cheesy manong/delivery guy from LBC hands me a box which obviously looked like bouquet in the inside. The box was wrapped with a blue ribbon, my heart flip flopped. I hate/love surprises!

And today, sending me 4 dozen of red fancy roses, right to my doorstep, with my dad! Truly priceless! :) Everything was a bliss! Because honestly, if there's one thing that could make me happy, it would be giving me flowers. Really. Flowers are my weakness. If I ask you to give me flowers, I am desperate.

When I opened the box, it made me cry. There's this card that says "Flowers muna while I'm not there" and it made me super cry. It's not that it sucked because he's not here, it's because he is so romantic and I just don't want to end the moment. I feel so special and loved. :) I know! I am such a princess! :P

I posted a picture of me on Facebook while I was carrying the bouquet, wearing my pajamas and the shirt I wore when I watched 127 hours with Les yesterday. HAHAHA! Gross! :)) There were like 40 plus people who liked the picture. It just means that guys, girls love flowers! We do! :)

I cannot take the smile away from my face. It's written all over me. I am in love. Distance and whatsoever doesn't really matter. You know when you love someone. :) Happy hearts' day to everyone, have a magical day you all, your hearts deserve it! :)

How messy can my room get?

My room is like my comfort place. It is one of the places I will definitely miss when I die (not that I'm dying ok!). :)

I cried when our house was destroyed by the Typhoon Ondoy late 2009. My room was flooded and everything got muddy! It took a month to clear the dirt out. Until now, some parts of the wall are still muddy.

My room reflects my personality. I am not a tidy person. I know!:)) I like my things messy. HAHAHA! (Turn offff!) I clean sometimes, but I leave my things mostly scattered everywhere. A sneak peak of my room, here it goes!

Say hello to my rainbow bed! The bed sheet almost falling out! :))

My study table/makeup desk/dresser/tambakan :))

My TV plus the Women's health magazines on top of it. My dad dressed my TV! :D

The DVD/Book shelf. Mixed! :))

I don't really know how my dvd player ended up on the floor! :)) Yes, those are my DVDs! Plus the Pocky pretzels Nikki got for me last year! Not yet eaten! :))

Below my desk are other crap! :)) Shopping paperbags, boxes and plastics! Jen, why so messy? :D

Some of my mostly used shoes. Look at the wall, see what Ondoy left for me? :(

And tada!, My pj's and feet! Hahaha! :))

So maybe today, it's a wake up call for me and decide what to do with my room. Messy or not, it's me. ;)

6 months :)

Today is my 6th month in Accenture. It is not a big surprise actually, I know I'm always doing great when it comes to work so there is no reason not to make it to 6 months! :)

It is official, I am now a permanent Employee of Accenture! :) (cheers to that!)

So, I can't let this moment pass without buying something, like a treat for myself!
During my first month in Accenture, I decided to get my teeth a treat and get braces. :)
On my 3rd month, I got myself an iPhone (remember Puglsy?) :)
And on my 6th month, I decided to get myself a laptop! ;)

Jolo and I have been planning on buying our own laptops since we needed it for Skype and all. We can't just borrow all the time and I just can't use the one we have in the family room since it's for public use. I mean, I can't use Skype when everybody's watching TV right?

My sister went to the mall with me and helped me do the "shopping" :)

At first, I have Lenovo, Dell and Samsung as my picks! Then, I ended up buying the expensive Vaio! :D

Hindi naman siya sobrang stress since I used my credit card and added some cash para less ang expenses. Plus, I really think I needed to get something that will last, not because this costs less, eh eto na. I have to buy something that is really worth it. So yes, I did get myself the Vaio. The slimmest one! :)

As of now, I haven't downloaded everything I want for my laptop. Only the few ones like Skype, YM, Firefox and Torrent. :) Kulang pa! So I'm gonna say goodbye for now. Expect more blogging soon! ;)
